Review: Corner Bakery Cafe

In general, restaurants and fast food chains in the United States have large servings.  Soda is almost always refillable.  So placing that aside, we get to focus on other things when making a food review here.  Quantity has been taken cared of.  Now let’s go to quality.

When you find yourself walking around Southlake Town Square, you’ll find that there aren’t that many fast food chains around.  So what’s a shopper to do?  The nearest source of delicious food is the Corner Bakery Cafe.  Here they offer various pastries, cookies, sandwiches and a lot more.

There’s pasta for those with large appetites (the bowls are humongous!)  and breakfast is served until 11 am on weekdays.  It offers a pleasant café ambience, and the place is large enough to accommodate a lot of guests.  There are also outdoor tables for summer days.

One of the nice perks in Corner Bakery Café is the free Wi-fi.  No need for an AT&T or Verizon account, just activate your laptop’s wi-fi and you’re all set.  No passwords necessary.  This makes Corner Bakery not only a great hang-out, but a cozy study nook.  Coffee and sodas are refillable, so you’re all set for a great study day.

During my two visits there, service was great.  I didn’t have to wait that long to be served.  Fast service didn’t dampen the quality of the food served.   Meals range from 5-10 dollars per person.  Not that bad.
